The final whistle doesn’t mean the night is over! Join us for our 5th Quarter tradition—a chance for family, friends, and fans to connect with our Lions after the game.

Once the visiting team has left the field, 12 minutes will be placed on the game clock. Families and friends may enter through the southwest gate and gather in the south end zone for photos, congratulations, and time with the team.

When the 12 minutes are up, we ask everyone to please exit the field so our players can load the bus and return to the high school.

Community-supported Team Meals

Clear Lake Football is about more than what happens under the Friday night lights. One of our valued traditions is gathering around the table for team meals, made possible through the generosity of local businesses, families, and community supporters.

Throughout the season, our players share meals together before game day. These meals provide more than fuel—they create time for players of all grade levels to connect, build relationships, and grow together as one team.

Community-funded team meals are also a reflection of what makes Clear Lake Football special. When a local business, family, or supporter sponsors a meal, our players see firsthand that their community is behind them.

It’s food, fellowship, and football—and another way we continue building the traditions of Clear Lake Lions Football.

Clear Lake Football Preview Night is our community’s official kick-off to the football season—a night to bring players, families, youth athletes, alumni, and Lions fans together before Friday night football begins.

The evening gives fans a first look at the team while creating a fun, family-friendly atmosphere at Lions Field. Youth activities, football challenges, team introductions, and time with our players help connect the next generation of Lions with the program they look up to.

More than a preseason event, Preview Night celebrates what Clear Lake Football is built on: community, tradition, relationships, and pride in wearing the black and gold.
